We built Arizona Lamb/Arizona Stockdogs as a facility for people who are passionate about handling their dogs in the sport of herding- whether with the intentions of doing ranch/farm chores or moving into a competitive arena. We have hosted United States Border Collie Handlers (USBCHA) trials, American Kennel Club (AKC), American Herding Breed Association (AHBA), and compete in Austrailian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA) trials. We are the elite training ground for herding in the Arizona. We offer some of the Top Clinicians and Trainers for all levels of handlers to improve their skills. In addition our facility is set up so that the DOGS learn to handle range stock, in any situation...effectively and efficiently.
Mom is the heart of Arizona Lamb/Arizona Stockdogs. It was her and dads dream that made this all happen. She runs the farm and manages the day to day operations. Mom competes in USBCHA, AKC, AHBA and ASCA herding events.
In Memory of
Dad was a believer in going after your dreams, jumping in with both feet, as well as bringing people together. He helped bring the new Tonopah location into reality.

I spend most of the week working with the local Veterinary practices as a Regional Sales Manager for JorVet, but when nights and weekends come, my full attention turns to training up my trial dogs and the youngsters. I have spent several years putting together my trial team, improving Moms and my opportunities on and off the field. My primary focus is USBCHA, but I do compete in most herding venues.
Susan has been herding since 2005. Currently she judges AHBA and AKC trials, and competes in USBCHA, ABHA, AKC and ASCA.
Susan loves sharing her knowledge with new handlers and introducing dogs to herding. Give her a call to schedule your opportunity for instinct testing.
